Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) is gaining importance as a new process for the governance of seas and oceans, maritime nations exercise greater management over their territorial waters and, in many cases, exclusive economic zones that span larger area. The purpose this planning to reverse environmental degradation facilitate sustainable use marine resources, both mature uses such fishing navigation, emergent uses, including renewable energies mariculture. In Europe, Directive 2014/89/EU European Parliament Council 23 July 2014 establishing framework spatial oblige coastal Member States develop plans at latest by 31st March 2021. To help process, countries have disposal set existing instruments, research projects, supporting guidelines, recommendations sets tools data, SIMNORAT project, co-funded EC – DG Affairs Fisheries (DG MARE).
